Everyone. Everyday. Everlasting.
Welcome to Class 3
Class 3 is a year 5 and 6 mixed aged class.
During your child's time in Class 3 they will develop their independent learning skills in preparation for a smooth transition to
secondary school. They will investigate a specific range of curriculum topics in greater depth, usually culminating in parent open
days to celebrate and share their work. These topics generally follow the published cycle but exact details differ from year
to year depending on the direction your children choose to take the work.
We regularly use 'Class Dojo' to give learning updates and share photographs with our parents. If you would like to register for
'Class Dojo' please speak to Mr Scott who will be happy to assist you.
Class 3 sent an athletics team to the Sports Hall Athletics Championships and came first! This means that they will now go onto the Bassetlaw Finals in the new year.
Some of our Class 3 pupils took part in an Orienteering competition at Worksop College, doing very well in beautiful conditions, achieving a second placed finish.
Class 3 went to Whitby for three days, taking part in the ‘Town Trail’, a lighthouse challenge, fossil hunting on the beach, as well as visiting the Lifeboat and Whitby museums and the Endeavour Experience. It was a quiet journey home with some very tired children!
