Everton Primary School PTA

Our current PTA started in January 2022. A PTA is a Parent Teacher Association, an organisation with a mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Everton Primary School's PTA brings together parents, teachers and children to raise funds and strengthen the school community. Money raised is usually spent on things that the school budget does not cover.

We would love to have even more members of our PTA. There are many reasons why you should join your PTA. From making new friends and getting to know the school environment, through to helping raise much needed funds and making a difference to the children and school community. All of these things help you grow in confidence as a parent and it feels good to know you are making a difference for your children and for generations to come.

There is no expectation on any parent volunteer, any amount of time you can give to the PTA will always be well received. There are a variety of ways you can get involved, from engaging with social media activity, attending PTA Meetings through to volunteering at events or coordinating events. Even donating preloved items, raffle prizes or suggesting brilliant ideas are ways of getting involved.

If you would like to become a member of Everton Primary School's PTA, then please get in touch with Mr Green through the school office.

Many thanks.

World Book Day - A message from the PTA:

We raised a total of £299.50 from the World Book Day event on Thursday 3rd March 2022! That’s a great amount that school can use towards books. We are aiming to raise another £700 over the course of the year to use towards our library books project.

There are two fundraising initiatives that the PTA have currently got up and running:

1. We have an 'ink bin' in school to collect old ink cartridges from small personal printers. Sadly we can’t collect the larger toner cartridges. If you have any or when you finish with the ones that you have got then please send them into school.

2. There will also be a box in school to collect any unwanted foreign currency (notes and coins) from any country. This will be divided into different currencies and exchanged for GBP, and out towards the library project. If coins / notes could be put into a sealed envelope or in a sealed/tied bag, then it will help.

As a PTA we will keep everyone posted with updates of fundraising projects.

Finally, a big 'thank you' to all children, parents and families who supported the World Book Day event.
