Transition To New Classes

Dear Parents

I’m really pleased to let you know about our plans for transition this year.  For the past few years we have run an enhanced programme of transition with the intention of supporting children and families to make the best possible start in their new class in September.  I’m writing to let you know of this year’s arrangements and to let you know the staffing arrangements for September.

Our INSET day on Friday 28th June will be focused on handover of information regarding children’s achievements and development needs as well as pastoral information which would benefit children’s transition.  Then, from Monday 1st July, your child will be in their new class for two full weeks.  On Monday 15th July, children will return to their current classes to finalise this year’s learning.
