We are so proud of our FSU who have won first place for both their entries of tomatoes and grapes in the Everton Gardenholders Annual Show 2021 which took place yesterday. Mrs Ann Hickman of the Everton Gardenholders came into school to present the FSU with their certificates this morning. Congratulations also goes to our other pupils and their parents/carers who were given individual honours this weekend.

  • National Teaching Assistant Day 2021

    Fri 17 Sep 2021 Mr A Green

Yesterday was National Teaching Assistant Day. At Everton Primary School we are incredibly fortunate to have such kind, caring  and nurturing TAs. Therefore Laura from Twinkle came into school to set up a surprise 'Tea with a TA' event to show them how much we all appreciate their hard work and dedication. You can watch how the surprise unfolded in the video link below:

  • Introduction to the new academic year 2021-22

    Tue 07 Sep 2021

I am delighted to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you as the new Headteacher of Everton Primary School. The children, parents, staff and community have been incredibly kind and welcoming, which has really helped me settle into my new role and has been very much appreciated.

I feel very honoured to have been given this opportunity to take over the leadership of a school with such a fantastic reputation as that of Everton Primary School, as well as become an integral part of Everton’s community and its surrounding areas.

The children have impressed me with their commitment to learning and excellent behaviour and I have been trying my very best to learn everyone’s name. Over the summer I managed to acquire some funding from local child mental health charity ‘Help Me I’m Fine’ which has enabled us to create a brand new Thrive Room for the children to use. This has helped children with worries when they returned to school and will give many others the opportunity to regulate their emotions when needed throughout the year.

I am very excited about the future for Everton Primary School and our links with the local community. Please feel free to contact me if you think that we could collaborate in any way for the benefit of the children and community.

    Best Wishes,

    Andrew Green

    Headteacher
