A video of our EYFS children on Internet Safety Day. They listened to a story about ‘Buddy and internet Safety’ and learnt a song to remind them how to use the internet safely and asking a grown up before they download anything off the internet. 💻👾🎮

What characteristics of learning (the EverTen) did you learn about?

"Independence – leaving the game and telling your parents without anyone telling you to. Resilience and confidence, the confidence to tell the adult that something happened." (BP, Year 4)

How have you shown honesty (an EverTen) during this cultural capital?

"Being honest to your guardian or parent. You can be honest by feeling ok about telling them what has happened online." (RW, Year 6)

How will Safer Internet Day help you in the future?

"If someone wanted to be my friend I didn’t know them I wouldn’t trust them or give them my number." (LG, Year 2)

We have had two NSPCC Online Safety sessions for Parents on Thursday 12th January 2023 (4-5pm) and Wednesday 18th January 2023 (7-8pm) via Zoom. The link is available to all parents and carers on Class Dojo.
