During the past month our Year 6 students have taken part in the National SATS Tests which measure academic performance across the country. No matter the outcomes, we are incredible proud of all our children. Whether they have been with us from the age of three, or recently joined our school, the children have shown themselves daily to be wonderful human beings and a key part of our EverTeam! Thank you also to all the parents, carers, staff and helpers that have supported the Year 6 children on their journey to this point so far.

Our Year 3 and 4 children have been on their annual residential visit. This year Class 2 went to Kingswood, where they took part in High Ropes, Zip Line, Fencing, Jacob’s Ladder, Orienteering, Shelter Building and many more exciting outdoor adventurous activities.

In other news, our football team took part in Doncaster Rovers’ ‘Play on the Pitch’ tournament at the Eco Power Stadium. Our team did incredibly well – qualifying third in the group stage – only to be knocked out by the eventual winners on the day on penalties during the quarterfinals.

On Wednesday 21st May Everton Primary School took part in ‘National Numeracy Day 2025’. On this day we celebrated maths throughout school by dedicating the day to maths learning. We also invited the children to dress up in anything with numbers or patterns on, or as Rockstars (based on the Times Table Rockstars multiplication game). It was lovely to see how fabulous the children looked and the amount of fun learning that ensued.
